USAGE AREAS

USAGE IN PLANT NUTRITION FORMULATIONS

It is used as a nitrogen source in liquid and powder NPK fertilizers and plant nutrition product formulations. Since the dissolution of urea in water is an endothermic reaction, increasing the ambient temperature will increase the solubility of urea. While urea is used in prill form in plant nutrition product formulations and industrial applications, granule form is generally used in direct agricultural applications. You can contact our company for detailed information and technical support regarding the usage areas of urea in plant nutrition product formulations.

AGRICULTURE

While urea is used as a raw material in fertilizer and plant nutrition product formulations and other industrial applications, it is used directly as a fertilizer in agriculture. Urea is highly soluble in water and so it is well suited for use in fertilizer solutions, eg 'foliar' fertilizers. Urea has the highest nitrogen content of all commonly used solid nitrogen fertilizers. Becouse of its high nitrogen content, it is very effective in increasing plant height, increasing fruit yield and root development.

FEED ADDITIVE

It is used as an additive in cattle feed. In addition to not causing toxic effects, urea increases the amount of milk, fat and protein in milk.

INDUSTRIAL APPLICATIONS

Urea is used in textile, resin, formaldehyde, paint and production areas.
